Job Title:Automotive Service ManagerLocation:Sharpsburg, GAJob Overview:As a Service Manager with Christian Brothers Automotive, you are the person that our guests look to when they need help with their vehicle.  Our Service Managers have the responsibility of taking our guests vehicles through the entire repair process, keeping up to date on the status of their vehicles and ensuring their satisfaction before they leave our facility.The Service Manager has responsibility and authority for all aspects of the daily shop operation and technician production. Responsibilities include but are not limited to work order distribution (dispatching), inspection compliance, staff management, quality of work, customer satisfaction, revenue, shop hour production, and other documented goals as assigned by the Owner. Shop personnel report directly to the Service Manager.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Manage shop personnel and daily operationsFollow and enforce all company policies and procedures as outlined in the current Employee HandbookTake necessary corrective and/or disciplinary action for employee non-complianceEnsure quality of work, attitude and performance meets or exceeds customer satisfaction goalsDirect the smooth, orderly and organized operation of the shopMaintain a personal positive attitude and positive communications at all times Assign work orders to the techniciansEnsure selection of quality partsEnsure target margins are achievedOpen and close stores on a daily basisEnsure technicians have the resources needed to do their jobServe as the primary communications interface between technicians and service writersAct in a professional manner suitable as to represent a quality organization with which you are employed, always and in every instance projecting the characteristics of honesty and integrityOther duties may be assigned
